REFUND POLICY

1. Refund Eligibility

  • Applicable Plans:
    This refund policy applies to both the Web Usage Plan and the API Usage Plan.

  • Refund Request Conditions:

    • Users may request a refund within 7 days of purchase provided that no credits have been consumed (i.e., no image processing has been performed).
    • Once credits have been consumed, it is deemed that the service has been used, and refunds will not be accepted.
  • Transaction Fee Deduction:
    A 4% transaction fee (charged by PayPal or Stripe) will be deducted from the refund amount. This fee is borne by the user to prevent fraudulent purchases and subsequent refunds.

2. API Plan Refund Eligibility

  • Before API Key Issuance:

    • If the refund request is made within 7 days of purchase and the API key has not been issued, a refund may be requested (subject to the 4% transaction fee deduction).
  • After API Key Issuance:

    • Once the API key has been sent, it is considered as the delivery of the service, and refunds will not be supported.
    • In cases of API call issues, we will provide debugging assistance to ensure proper use of the service.

3. No Refund After Service Use

  • Usage Standard:
    Usage is defined by the number of credits consumed (i.e., the number of image processing operations performed).

    • Once image processing occurs (i.e., credits are consumed), a refund cannot be issued due to the actual costs incurred by the use of server computing resources.
  • Service Expectations:

    • The service has strict requirements regarding the original images, which may result in outcomes that differ from customer expectations.
    • Users are advised to fully understand the scope and limitations of the service before making a purchase to avoid disputes arising from differing expectations and actual results.

4. Non-Tangible Digital Services

  • Digital Product Nature:
    • Since the service provides non-tangible digital products, users must carefully review this refund policy before making a purchase.
    • Purchasing the service confirms that the user has read, understood, and agreed to these refund terms.

5. Sensitive Images & Original Image Requirements

  • Processing Scope:
    • The service only supports the removal of mosaics from unaltered original images and does not process images containing sensitive content, in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Refund requests due to issues related to image content or quality will not be accepted.

6. Refund Processing Time

  • Processing Timeline:
    Refund requests will be processed within 3 business days.
    The actual refund credit date depends on the payment method and the processing time of the user’s bank or financial institution.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Exclusion Clause:
    • The service provider is not responsible for service interruptions or delays caused by factors beyond our control (e.g., server issues or payment platform problems).
    • While we will provide support for technical difficulties, refund requests based on such issues will not be accepted.
